Our researchers find the best places to stay along our routes, with accommodations ranging from famed hotels to tented camps and everything in between. When we are not out wandering through medieval streets or exploring the pristine wilderness, we plan leisurely diversions, superb meals and unique events with local characters.

A lot of imagination goes into creating these trips, but in the end, what really counts is the imagination you bring to living them and making them your own.
Our approach to luxury is more about the richness of the experience than the cost of a hotel room, is more about tasting wine from a barrel than sipping it from a crystal goblet, and is more about sleeping under the stars than slipping between 500-thread count sheets (although we’re not averse to that either). We plan our trips on the premise that the most enjoyable comforts are the ones earned by a little sweat upon the brow, that the most piquant meals are the ones we participated in preparing ourselves, and that the most memorable moments are the ones preceded by a spontaneous transition from passively observing to actively participating.
